Mission

92 words

Crack’d Up is on a mission to modernize one of America’s most frequently consumed foods by reinventing the egg for today’s consumer. Despite being a daily staple, eggs remain under-innovated, forcing people to make tradeoffs between convenience, flavor, and nutrition. We solve this by delivering ready-to-pour, flavored whole eggs made with real ingredients. With no prep or mess, consumers can cook great-tasting, high-protein eggs in just 2 minutes. By transforming a $50+ billion category, Crack’d Up is making nutritious, delicious food more accessible while bringing meaningful innovation to an everyday American staple.

Why this business is necessary

470 words

Crack’d Up is necessary because it addresses a clear disconnect in one of the largest and most consistently purchased food categories in America. 87% of Americans purchase eggs weekly, yet only 32% describe eggs as flavorful and just 45% find them convenient to prepare. This highlights a fundamental gap in a $50+ billion market: a product deeply embedded in daily routines is not meeting modern consumer expectations. Today, consumers are forced to make multiple tradeoffs. Traditional shell eggs are nutritious and affordable but require time and preparation. Existing liquid egg products offer convenience but often sacrifice taste and are overly processed with few clean ingredients. Prepared breakfast options can be tasty but are more expensive and sacrifice nutrition. As a result, no current solution effectively combines convenience, flavor, and nutrition in a single product for everyday consumption. Crack’d Up solves this dilemma by introducing a new category: flavored eggs. By mixing all-natural spices, seasonings, and syrups with whole liquid eggs, we transform eggs from a raw ingredient into a complete, ready-to-cook meal. This differentiated product is built on a clear consumer insight and designed for repeat, everyday use within a high-frequency category. There are multiple consumer trends that act as tailwinds for our product. The rise of GLP-1 medications is accelerating demand for high-protein, nutrient-dense foods to preserve muscle mass while still meeting nutritional goals. Additionally, U.S. dietary guidelines are now recommending simple, minimally processed foods with an emphasis on whole ingredients. Crack’d Up aligns directly with these shifts, making it easier for consumers to incorporate healthy, simple, protein-rich meals into their daily routines. From a competitive standpoint, the category remains under-innovated, with no pure-play competitors. This gives us a first-mover advantage in a new segment. Over time, defensibility is driven through brand presence, proprietary formulations developed through commercial R&D, and embedded manufacturing and supply chain relationships. Crack’d Up benefits from a well-established supply chain and distribution process. The product leverages existing liquid egg processing infrastructure and established refrigerated distribution channels, enabling a capital-light path to market. With strong unit economics driven by the lower cost of liquid eggs compared to that of shelled eggs, and a premium yet accessible price point, Crack’d Up is well-positioned for both profitability and growth. Ultimately, Crack’d Up brings meaningful innovation to a massive, legacy category. By solving a clear consumer problem with a scalable and differentiated product, we are not only improving the breakfast-eating experience, but unlocking a new path for growth in the egg industry. Crack’d Up was co-founded by Aiden Silverstein and Nik Gandhi, who bring complementary experience across food, finance, branding, and early-stage company building.
